Ellie does this......
I took these pictures at the same time. Ellie is so sad when Sophie sleeps. She doesn't realize that Sophie is a cat and a 10 week old cat, so she will sleep about 23.5 hours a day.
When not sleeping and/or pouting, this is what they do...
Our living room wall is made up of 7 foot by 3 foot windows all the way across. As the day goes on, they move from window to window following the sun.
Margot's Pookie was stolen by Sophie and was brought along on this sun bathe....
Ellie is really good with Sophie. She thinks she is her kitten, like I said, and really just wants to be best friends. Sophie holds her own, quite vocally.
When they aren't sleeping, it is an all out wrestling match. I am a constant referee. They do really well together, but Ellie is just a 5 month old puppy. I don't want her to get too excited and forget to "be easy". (even though Sophie bites her like she's lunch) Ellie thinks that Sophie can't take a breath without her being present.
At the end of the day, it is all cuddles.... (this is NOT a staged pic. I love it!!) And, Sophie is a tv junkie. She lays in bed and watches the news with me every morning and watches in the evenings too, like she is here with Ellie....
We hope when Sophie grows up and gets to be a cat, she will still be friends with Ellie. We're gonna have a pup with a broken heart otherwise.....
